Why Italy
Rooted in Italy. Connected to the World.
Italy has never lacked talent, invention or craft. It has lacked bridges to the markets where that work can scale.
Strengths that the international market has not yet finished recognising.
Creative and design heritage
A national tradition of form, craft and taste that global markets already recognise and pay for.
Engineering and advanced industry
Deep capability in mechanics, automation, aerospace, energy and precision manufacturing.
Scientific research and universities
Research groups and institutions producing work that deserves a wider international audience.
Entrepreneurial tradition
Generations of family firms and founders who built durable businesses from small beginnings.
Applied technology
Strong applied talent in software, data, robotics and industrial technology.
A global diaspora
An international Italian network that already connects Italy to the world’s major markets.

A Strategic Centre
Rome, with a national ambition.
Rome is the proposed strategic centre of the initiative: a capital city with universities, research institutions, international organisations and a permanent flow of global visitors.
The vision, however, is national. Italian talent is distributed across Milan, Turin, Bologna, Naples, Bari and countless smaller centres of excellence, and the initiative is designed to connect with all of them.
We are at an early stage, and we do not present offices, hiring plans or investment commitments as settled. Where we locate and how we grow will be decided with the people who join first.
